An evening at QE2 and TRIMIX @ Penang

Throwback!!
Imagine way way way back! haha!

Hello Penang Pointers,

So guess what happen on the 5th day of CNY? We went out to party with Trimix at QE2 !!
QE2 (Queen Elizabeth 2) is a chic place to go clubbing!
 

Imagine trimix hitting their trance track while the party animals were fist pumping the whole night through! Whoa..what a russssshhh !!! 

The view was indeed beautiful, as it points out directly into the open seas of weld quay area. Nothing like a cold ice tiger beer to go accompanied with such splendid atmosphere!

The place was pretty packed!

I was particularly fond of the bar! With the table top filled with alcoholic beverages, the servers was very courteous to our thirst needs and worked as fast as they could to satisfy that hunger for more!

Look! Who's up there? It's Trimix!!! My all time fav DJ group! 

Blast from the past! Met a friend there, so apparently she also turns out to be a clubbing kaki too! She asked me, "Mike, why dont i see you at clubs?" I replied "Oh, I'm one in a blue moon clubber" haha!

It's true! I hardly go clubbing anymore...maybe i;m passing that stage when maturity of age kicks in and the once upon a time "exciting" places seems too loud and rowdy.. 

Well..anyways.. :P

Caught up with Dj Ramsey Westwood! Didnt get to hear him spin tho, because I was fashionably late (as usual) - but then again, was glad to see him around!

Also got the chance to catch up with Jessica Tan, one of my other good friend and famous blogger in Malaysia! Got to meet her hot friend on the right too ^^

When there was too much party, a pretty serene scene always seems to lights up my mood

Straits Quay, Tanjung Tokong - Penang

Hey Guys!

I had the opportunity to visit Straits Quay, Tanjung Tokong the other day. If you guys are not sure where it is, it is at the new E&O development, just behind the Penang - Island Plaza. The housing development there is call Sri Tanjung Pinang, and the famous Breeza condo by UDA housing project is located there too! 

Real Estate and housing/ property prices here ranges around RM1.7 - 5 mil (landed property). I'm sure you can imagine the exclusivity of the area zoning here =.0
(I didnt managed to take any pictures of the real estate/ property here tho)

So anyway, I had the chance to explore my camera and decided to take some pictures of the beautiful scenery! I hope you enjoy my shots as I did ^^

The stage area!

This is the area (the Straits Quay stage area) where all the live performnces and entertainment are found. During New Year's Eve, Christmas and other big celebrations, it will usually be jammed packed with people, all waiting to party!

Owners feel safe keeping their boats and yacht here!

Owners really pride themselves and are comfortable keeping their boats and yacht here! While sipping a cup of espresso from Starbucks or having a beer from the Irish bar, they can keep an eye and also their friends eye on their beloved!

Ah, such a nice picture! My personal favorite! I guess that's why most tourist and visitors from Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Alor Setar all come to Penang, to see and behold such beautiful sights! Definitely one of the main highlights!

Chinese New Year Decorations! Nice!!

When malls start to put up Chinese New Year Decorations, I realize time just seems to go and move too fast!

See? they have liveable units above the commercial cafes!

Beware of wild cyclist!

Haha, i'm just joking. We have to be aware tho that there are cyclist, (and there is a sudden boost of cyclist in Penang Island - especially) that will be having their cycling activities around this premises, so we need to be aware of them for both the safety of both parties.

The management of Straits Quay really keeps a close eye to detail and the maintenance of the image of the place. Bravo and keep it up guys!

Ahhh, Yes.....what a great day! I hope I will be able to get the chance to take more pictures here next time! :)

Full Moon Party 2011

We confirm Zouk's DJ Ken (MatserK) and "ipohmali"'s MC Point Blanc to spin for us for the night!

Andrew Netto will be rockin' the house with laughter! (Some call him Malaysian's own Russell Peters) so expect something GREAT!! (You will be standing on your feet when hes done!)

Party hard but party with a cause as well...this year, we support Penang's fight against poverty (Partners against poverty policy). How many people can we help? Not all, but hopefully we can make a difference in the lives of the some of them.

This year we bring luxury, when Naza our biggest sponsors will be bringing two Maserati top models into Penang, what do you say about partying with some of the world's luxury performance cars, by the sea with great DJs? Come and join in the Experience with us!

An Oasis of Peace and Tranquility....Well for the Full Moon Party, I think the environment would be far from peaceful and tranquility that night (and that night only) as we bring powerful lightings and powerful bass sounds from the stage! Woot!


Come and take you pictures next to the luxurious Maserati and our FMP Beautiful, sexy ambassadors! We would have 20 of them present and awaiting to take photographs with you on this exclusive night! There would be some photoshooting sessions soon, propertizer will follow up and let the world see these beauties :)

Tickets are now on discount at RM88.00 until the 1st of March 2011. Remember this is for CHARITY (Penang states policy: Partners against Poverty). Lets do something good and a chance to help those who are in need. Every ticket sold will be given to Charity.
